I would love to add some photos. Is there a way to have a separate page for the anniversary photos? Thanks for doing this!

I had a great time visiting with Stapp descendants last weekend. I thought it was a respectfully fun celebration and was genuinely moved at the recollection of their (men and women alike) courage, fortitude, and passion. Was also great to meet so many of the Shore family -wonderful! Glad to have been included. A special thanks to the master griller of the event – Senor David Shore.

    Hi,
Samantha Ann Stapp is my G grandmother. We think her mother’s name was Malinda and her father’s name was Akillis; although that may be wrong. It is possible that she was either from AL or KY. She died September 12, 1901 in Giles County, TN. Her husband was Isaac Evans m. around 1872-1875. Does anyone have any connections to my Samantha Ann Stapp?

A friend of my today sent me the attachment for this blog. I am Michael Vance Mitchell, my Great Great Grandfather Issac Newton Mitchell married Callista A Stapp, daughter of Hugh Shannon, Fourth son of Elijah. I was asked recently about finding Elijah’s grave site and believe for certain I have. Will know for sure tomorrow and then with further inspection two weeks from now. The friend I mentioned owns the property who’s neighbors property surrounds the grave site. More to come.

The Vawter family is having its reunion in San Antonio July 13 to 16. Would live to have Stapp descendants come to our meeting Friday morning. I am the genealogist for the VV V association. I look forward to your comments.
